I posted a larger size copy on the MTFCI Forum under Model T Era Original Photos
That's an interesting assortment of items on display. What do you guys think the truck is? Looks like a fire truck, perhaps a Sears or IHC Highwheeler??
Maybe it was the fire departments attempt to get the community to buy a Ford for a fire truck instead of the old high wheeler.
There is a lot of money sitting on that truck but the radiator doesn't look like a Ford one. Special after market?
Those parts look safe enough but put them all together !
That's when it gets sketchy!
But what fun it is
What's the radiator? Overland, maybe?
Overland radiator - even if you are not familiar with the shape of the radiator badge gives it away.
IHC Autowagon - I can tell just by looking at the steering wheel and the spark and throttle controls. Also, wheels and front fender.
This is so interesting! Chesaning, Michigan is where my great grandparents lived! Must be the same town. Always amazed at the Model T interconnections!
I remember the Chesaning Showboat. I heard it was recently demolished.
The Heritage House used to be a very nice place to eat!! It was the home of a lumber baron and it's still standing.Bud in Wheeler,Mi.
Fascinating picture!
I count 5 brass bell hand Klaxon horns in the photo!
here is a good contest, who can count and name the most parts on this rig?
