Does any one have any information on the small Fageol tractors that used Model T engines to haul people around the Panama Pacific Exposition in 1915? The company went on to build tractors, buses and trucks after that. They were headquartered in Oakland, California.
Larry... there is a tractor museum just south of you in the desert that has one or two of them. I was there many years ago and looked them over. They may have info.
That museum is in Vista, just East of Oceanside.
Peter Fageol took the company over from his family in the 30's- 40's and founded Peterbilt Motors. The factory was moved to Newark Ca.
People on the Forum are amazing! How do you know these things?! I always learn cool stuff from you, so thanks!
Great trucks except for the cab overs.Getting in and out of a Pete cab over is like climbing up the side of a building!! Bud.
