I printed out the online maps of the various color fields at Hershey and I would like to mark them up with who is going to be at what spots, can folks please post their spots here in this thread?

From other 2016 threads:

Dan Hatch will be in the Chocolate field South at spaces CR31-35, near lightpost 68.

Mike Kossor will be in the Chocolate field South at spaces CQ25-26, near lightpost 68.

Steve Hammatt will be in the Red field A1 in spaces RWG29-30, nearest lightpost 21.

Lang's will be in the Red field A2 in spaces RCG and RCF 38-43, nearest lightpost is 16.

MTFCI will be in the Red field A2 in spaces RCG and RCF 36 and 37 (right across from Lang's).

RCB-44 and 45. I will have T,V8 and some 50's Merc. parts.

We will be at C4N 31-32 (just north of the central restroom facility) with our usual assortment of NOS ignition parts for most makes and models from 1910 to 1960. This includes distributor caps, points, rotors, condensers, etc. Although we have several model T's we don't carry model T ignition parts, however many of you may have another car or a friend that may need some ignition parts.

across from Magure's. Light Post 41 (?).

I'll be at GAG and GAF 27-28 (Green field) with a variety of "T" and "V8" stuff. I'll have several rebuilt and tested NH straight through carbs, regular NHs, some rebuilt and tested Stromberg OFs several other "T" aftermarket carbs, and a few boxes of brass carb cores. I'll also have a good selection of NOS and excellent used rear end and tranny parts. Lets all pray for nice weather.. Bruce

C4Q34 through C4Q39, about half way between Light Post 36 and 37 and one row further East.

While polishing the brass lights on my 1911 T recently, I was challenged by the blue lens on the driver's side of the rear taillight. Red to the rear and clear to illuminate the license plate make sense, but why the color blue opposite the clear lens? Red an green are used for nautical position indications, so why blue on vintage cars? Or could these lenses have originally been green and time and exposure have altered their color? I have asked several very knowledgeable car authorities and have not received any definitive answer. Can anyone out there give me and others an explanation?

On another topic, and not intending to re-start any further discussions on motor oils, (Please Don't) can anyone speak to the merits of using "mineral oil" in the "breaking in" process of a newly rebuilt engine?

We really should start a another thread with this. But, I will take the risk and reply anyhow.
The subject of the blue lens was talked about here a short while ago. I'm not sure how to find it. There were a few opinions offered. One idea was the fact the flame is yellow while shining through the blue lens, thus creating green. Makes sense to me but, why not just have a green lens? I'm thinking you would end up with a 'greener' green? But, as you said, were they green to start with? I have the correct tail lamp for my 14' and also one in brass. I thought maybe I might put the brass one on the car just to dress it up a little. I have yet to light either lamp as I am curious to test the yellow flame theory. Let us know if you do! Maybe new thread title as "Blue lens"

Does anyone actually test and adjust coils during the show? Seems like it would be a good way to make a few extra bucks and save people from shipping known good coils just to get adjusted.

CI-17 selling some old T parts for a friend. Also have a lot of Model A parts.

The coil Dr.has tested my coils,if a slight adjustment is needed he would. Coils that needed rebuilding I would leave with him.

Mike, maybe my map is out of date, but it shows that the OA spaces end at OAH. OAI would be on Hershey avenue. Are they using the street as overflow?

Mark, That's what I thought too at first glance. OAI is all the way on the left most strip of vendors.

Not sure how many visitors out there on the fringes of the field so should have some time to do some coil testing and adjusting Dan. Stop by OAI 20 to say hello and bring your coils.

Well normally I would be putting up my space numbers: RCJ 50-51 on here but for the first time in 37 years I will not be able to attend this year's Hershey show that I have in the past and just wanted to let some you know why I wouldn't be attending as well as with my wife who has been coming with me for the last 20 years after I retired as an high school auto mechanics instructor for 31 years. She could now make the trip with me because we could leave a day earlier and drive during the day rather than having to leave at night as I had in the past when I was teaching.
 
However, back in May Julie was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and with the need of her daily care I have been on unable to keep up with reproducing the Model T's and other antique car parts in my foundry and machine shop. She was so closely involved with me and as many of you have probably met her at the shows I'm sad to say that she has not been doing well in these last few months.
 
I would also like to apologize to many of you that have emailed me asking about items that I had produced and I never answered back or was very late in doing so. At this time I'm not sure what steps I will be taking in the future as to my continuing with the production of items that I have in the past since my love of 43 years had always kept things organized for me which I was never good at on my own. Sorry I can't be there and hope you all do well and the weather doesn't cause any problems. Bob
