I recently found a nice North East Electric 6v Model XL horn and would like to know what type sound it should make. I have read about both "ahooga" and "dying goose" horns but don't yet know which this should be.
North East Electric Hrn 1
North East Electric Horn 2

Can someone help with getting this horn to work? How do you adjust it for a better sound (if there is one)?

Thanks

Northeast electrical products (horns, distributors, etc.) were used a lot of period Chrysler products, most particularly Dodges, that I am aware of. Find someone with a 20's or 30's Dodge and tell them to give you a honk.

Pretty sure that short back doesn't house a motor so to my eye it can't be an ahooga horn.
