Two of the windows in my 26 Tudor work themselves down as the car runs. I'm suspecting weak or broken coil springs on the regulator. Someone told me that the new springs are not good. Can they be resprung? (new term)
Thanks,
Mike
I think if it's a Windows problem, you're supposed to contact Microsoft.....
Yep. It has to be a Microsoft problem.
You need to connect your car to the Internet and get the latest updates.
The last time my computer did an update it did 35 updates and took 25 minutes.
I was lucky almost everything still works.
Whenever my windows do down, a nice guy with a foreign accent from Microsoft calls me and offers to help my fix my problem.
REsrung is what happens when you fix them and they go bad again!
Has that someone done the job them self or just passing on hearsay? Langs sells the parts, my guess if they sell them they should be good. With all the work involved you might think about new regulators, they have them to.
Wow....there are soooooooooooooooo many comedians in the T world I love it
Thanks, Mark, for the voice of reason crying in the wilderness! I'll try Land's!
Thanks, again, guys for all your heartfelt advice
Mike
I resprung two of the regulators on my Fordor. You have to grind off the keeper tabs then spot weld the pieces back together. The springs from Lang's are working well with no problems.
