In a few weeks, I'll have the engine / transmission unit back, ready to go.
However, the front axle, rear axle, frame, wheels, etc., progress is slower.
I'd like to build a stand in order to run this engine for short periods. I have the radiator and connections, as well as woodworking and metalworking tools to build a stand.
If you have plans for making a stationary stand (or one with casters), I'd appreciate your help.
Over here cut off frames are very common from when an engine was cut from a wrecked T still in its frame cradle and used as a stationary engine on a farm. So putting legs on an already wrecked frame would be the easiest way - if any such front piece is available locally?
I agree, and to think a couple of years ago, I gave away two '26 - '27 frames!
