Went to Rogers, OH flea market Friday and found a couple of nice old Klaxton horns. The brass horn has patent dates 1908, 1909, and 1910, and it's 12 volts. What car had 12 volts in 1910?

It's not 12V it's a Klaxon-12 stamped 6 volt.

Joe as Charley and John have already mentioned, it is a 6 volt Klaxon.

If the inside is as nice as the outside, if you test it with a 6 volt battery you will see that it works fine.

There could be a Klaxon in a T, but there is no T in Klaxon. :-)

The Klaxon 12 is for larger cars, the Klaxon 8 is the size sold for the Ford.

Have one on the Autowa, and like the ahooga sound it makes.
