The truck is a 1937 Chevy. The stock motor would have been a 216 CID OHV 6 Cy.

The cab looks odd for a '37 Chevrolet. There is no mistaking the grill, but '37 cabs had a more rounded top than the one in the photo. But then some truck builders did odd things for the railroad truck buyers. I've heard that Ford made crewcabs that were made just for the RR, as in 1956 for one.
