I recently managed to source an NOS set of Speedometer for my 1915 Model T but have no clue on how to fit one on my 1915 Runabout :-(
Do any of you experts have an idea on how does one fit or any literature or installation manuals?
I live in India and there aren't many experts who can help. Any leads would be highly appreciated..
Take care and sending you pics of my 1915 runabout as well.
There is a book by Russ Furstnow about "Antique Automobile Speedometers". He is quite knowledgeable, and the book I hear is very good. I don't have a copy of it, and on a quick look didn't find it available on any websites. However, it should still be available, and several of the model T parts supply companies should have it if you ask them. Do you have a preferred supplier? Try calling them?
The basic installation should be the same for several years of model Ts, and I know that more than one model speedometer was used in 1915. The Stewart is considered by many people to be the best one to use.
It is available.
Super Very useful indeed. Will try and ship one to India. Many thanks.
