All those affected definitely need our prayers. Also, all those searching for used cars really need to be careful, as a lot of them will be on the market with plenty of hidden problems.

I am surprised that given the electronics packages standard on cars now, any flood damaged autos and trucks are economically repairable. I would be more suspect that salvaged parts from inundated vehicles would start showing up in the marketplace on a regional basis. I am sure being submerged in dirty brackish water does wonderful things for body parts and drive train components.
