Over the weekend I was at the Historic Vehicle Association conference Driving History - Protecting our overlooked automobile heritage in the 21st century. The event was held at NB Center for American Automobile Heritage. Not to go into any be laboured details, the conference was informative.

The session that may be interest to the forum was an open mic about the future of a reputed World War I Cadillac 7 passenger touring car.

The session was called "Intense Conservation of an important car, the 1918(?) Cadillac US 1257x."

Discussed as the next step to retain the originality of the car or prepare it for the 100 year anniversary of the United States entry into WWI.

The car presented at some point in its existence was refitted with tempered glass, carburetor was rebuilt and other non period details were observed.

If interested in this discussion just search for a 1917 Cadillac US1257X.
