The Model T family has lost a great friend and Model T hobby ambassador, my buddy Art Moran from Webster Mn. He passed away today. May he rest in peace. You will be missed, Bob.
I always enjoyed talking with Art on tours. He was a very interesting man. Rest in peace.
As Bob said, Art was a great promoter of the Model T hobby. He shared his extensive knowledge with others and pushed to have Model Ts out on the road, not just sitting in a garage. He was a true gift to the preservation of Model Ts.
Art was a great ambassador for the hobby. Great wit and a friendly smile. He hosted Wednesday morning coffee gatherings at his shop for more than a decade. I made the 2.5 hour drive down form my place many times. There was always plenty of good friendship to go around. The roster of the T Totalers Model T Club grew every year with people who bumped into Art while he was out sharing his love of antique cars. He'd ask them to consider joining and they'd sign up.
Art will be missed.
I have not heard of any services yet, Bob.
Bob,
I am sorry for your loss of a great T friend.

I knew art and his parents. His parents were members of the AACA and Art continued with the hobby. He really enjoyed working on and driving his antique autos. He had a great collection of automobile items.
