Great pics.
What was the purpose of the crossbar on the front? I see them often...

It's a high performance device. It allowed greater speeds on the roads of the day without the fenders falling off.:-)

"By the end of this trip... The resale value of this vehicle will be virtually nill..."

One of my all time favorite movie quotes. "The Bank Dick". Good ol W.C. Fields! I think of him every time I climb behind the wheel of a Ford. Everybody in Hollywood is just too darn pretty these days... No personality anymore!!

Interesting body style. It looks like a depot hack, but it has tapering sides to add some style to it rather than the simple box. The cowl is not standard Ford issue either. It has already had a replacement front fender fitted at some time.

Allan from down under.

Simply put Brooks, a fender brace

I always liked those braces, but when it came time to actually put one on, I couldn't do it.
That garage reminds me of the garage that was in a Harold Lloyd film, where he backed right through the back of it.

I find the braces so alter the looks of the T, I do not like them.

I have a nice hole in my shop where I tried to run the truck through
the back wall ! A case of engine revs a little too high, that tiny reverse
pedal, and size 13 feet !

Barney's fenders have marks from one, so I went looking for one, and will put it on, I think they are an interesting accessory that actually did something!
