I think original round tube radiators had 5 rows. Mine did.

I bought a new Brassworks 5 row round tube for my 1926 in 2000 and it has never boiled over.

I have been told that their flat tube only has 4 rows as it cools better.

Some older after market radiators only have 2 rows of tubes.
