The “Golden Eagle” is now ready to fly!
Sunday, I had Seabiscuit out for a fun run when I lost my muffler. I had to use bailing wire to drive him home and that makes me feel like a real Model T’er! Today I installed a new muffler and with that I felt the need to rename Seabiscuit, the “Golden Eagle”. Hope you will agree with the new name.
Happy motoring,

It's a great day to let the eagle fly Warren
Drive safe and often
I liked "Seabiscuit". But how could anybody be opposed to calling a car the "Golden Eagle"!
We see both Bald Eagles and Golden Eagles flying around here often. Most of the time, it is difficult to tell one from the other. Bald Eagles don't develop the white head feathers until after a year of age. Youngsters look almost identical. And often, they are too far away to tell for certain if the head is white.
Thanks Dallas & Wayne, have you ever had to use bailing wire in order to get your car home? As I said I had this problem before (this time the nut just backed off) so I took it over to my good friend Dick and he welded it altogether for me. Yesterday I finally had a chance to work on installing that muffler in Seabiscuit (Wayne, the "Golden Eagle" was just for fun). As I said during filming the video I only had to get up & down under the car about twelve time, which for me my be a record. Here are some photos of my effort.

Warren, glad you got Seabiscuit a.k.a. "Golden Eagle" back on the road. Still a couple of nice days left! Maybe. Love the grill deco, but looks a bit like a "golden turkey"! Ha ha. It's considered bad luck to change the name of a boat during its current owner's possession, don't know if that holds true with cars. Glad you're keeping it Seabiscuit!
Thanks, Tim, as far as it being a Golden Turkey, I got from a guy on the web and we all know "that if I saw it on the web, it must be true".
Happy motoring,
Warren
ps: I must be brave because in the credits I called Seabiscuit a "Doctors Coupe"
