Just wondering ... on right hand drive Ts are the spark and throttle levers on the steering column reversed ?
Tommy
Yes
Yes! I have 1 left hand drive and 2 right hand drives and I put a piece of red tap around the spark lever to remind me when cranking.
That would be tough to get out of one and go drive the right hand, or so it seems.
Actually I have had no problems. My '13 is RHD and my '27 is LHD
One of my 16'ns is LHD and the levers are reversed.
I should have made that a little clearer, reversed to be the same as a RHD.
What about the pedals?
Tom,
Pedal to foot configuration stays the same, just on the opposite side.
I'm pretty sure they were reversed in order to make it easier to adjust the spark from the outside of the car when hand cranking.
Rob
I agree Rob. My RHDs I can flick with a yard stick from the cranking position, LHD not so easy, takes a few steps.
With the exhaust passing right underneath the pedals the RHD has a lovely heater for your feet in winter. In summer it is sheer hell if you are wearing sandals.
