Were there some E & J 666 Headlights that were Black and brass? Have brass chimneys, but pots are black . . .???
That's right. Some are 656, some are 66. Used in 1913 - 14 on USA built T's.
Our Canadian Ts also had 66 lights. Steel bodies painted black, brass tops and doors. The 66 is off centre. Most likely the same die used to number them as for the 666, with one of the 6's ground off the die.
Allan from down under.
E & J used the last number to designate the size of the mirror in their headlamps.

The pair on my '13 were originally NICKEL plated brass and black. Still quite a bit of the original plating on them!!
Not from Ford USA they were not. Maybe something from Canadiastan?
