Just got back from 4 day swap meet at Moultrie, Ga. It was not a place for T parts. Seems like everything is going to the 50's and later stuff. Found very little and what few things I did find they wanted ebay prices. So long to Moultrie, way too many handy cap scooters everyone took advantage of.
Did not go this year, for exactly that reason. Went last year as I was new to the hobby. Found very little T stuff. Did get some wheels and some dust caps, but probably paid too much at the time and didn't know what I needed.
You had to walk every street to see if there was anything of use. Yes, mostly muscle car stuff, eyeglass cleaners, pillow salesmen, replacement window salesmen, generator and pressure washer salesmen, etc.
Wasn't worth a return trip this year.
I used to go twice a year, but not this year. Maybe February, if I'm not busy, but what was said above is true. It's not like you won't see ANY T stuff, but it is few and far between.
Bad place to vend also. I tried a couple times, sold nothing. Well, I did sell a car but it was weeks later. That is why I did not go this time, too far for nothing to see. I am waiting on Luray. Dan
Went to the Swap Only 2 other T vendors there, sold about $150 worth, some non-Ford.
As for T's This '23 was offered at $3500
Rough body
Pretty sure the magneto didn't like the 12v power line from the battery running to the coil box!
Red speedster was $9000
TT truck was nicer looking for hefty $12,500
Slim pickin's on T parts. Hot rods and Rat rods ruled the weekend.
