We were so proud to raise the American flag outside the Museum for the first time on Friday, Nov. 18. The permanent flagpole was installed before the Veterans Day parade here in Richmond, but the cement needed time to set well before the flag went up. The flagpole and flag were donated and installed by our wonderful volunteers Jamie Maxwell, Jerry Kramer, and Bill Grotendick. Thank you for this important addition to the Museum. It honors everyone who has or is serving our country in the military, police, fire, and as first responders. We are grateful to you every day.
That's wonderful!!!
I'm glad that you put it up on November 18th since that was the last warm day before the cold temps came in.
And lest I forget, thank you to all of you that put in so much time and effort to make the museum so nice.
