I just purchased a speedster body and found a number of brace rivets missing from the fire wall. ( photos attached ).
They measure 3/4 in. long and the screw goes into the open end.
Can anyone give me the name of this type of rivet and were to obtain.

Leather and harness shops have them; you may find them cataloged as Chicago Screws

Restoration Supply Company out of Nevada specializes in odd, obsolete or just plain weird fasteners and other sundries for antique machinery restoration.
They have these and just about anything else you might need to complete you your project.

George, they are called "Chicago screws", most all harness makers have them and available in brass, nickel, chrome or stainless. I have access to them if needed.
