I have Oversize Rivets for the Transmission Drums. They comeing out 0,20 inch [ 5 mm] is that to much ???
If so , how much do I have to grind off ???

None at this point. After the rivets are set the drum has to be faced to remove the excess.

I just peen them down an not worry about the length as you have to turn the rivets down flush due to the fact both side of that drum is a bearing surface

I mash 'em using a press and face off the excess. I'm careful to fill the counter sunk area completely. Also best to bolt and screw all but one hole then press the one rivet, remove to opposite side and continue in like fashion until all rivets are set.

Agree. You need to shoot the rivets so they fill the entire countersunk area. Then face them off in the lathe. Like this:
