I'd swear they were still using that truck when I was at Fort Riley in 1966.
Custer left Fort Riley on his way to Greasy Grass Creek (Little Big Horn), and told the sentries at the gate "Don't change anything until I get back." And, they haven't.
Notice the long "boot scraper" running boards on the C-Cab. We usually associate them with the square cab TT's, but I'd guess all TT's got them when the changeover occurred - likely at the time of the square cab introduction (April 1925).
And the 6.00 x 20 rear tires - here's my Gramps' 1924 he purchased new in Seattle - nearly the identical truck with the short boards & 32 x 4.5 rears.
