Question for the T-ers:

What rear light would have been used on this particular year and model? I have the rear lantern, but am at a loss as to what else would have been included. As always, many thanks for a response and for the wealth of knowledge freely provided.

Depends on whether or not it was "starter equipped". The electric starter model would have been outfitted with the small round 6v. lamp mounted on the spare carrier, if so equipped or the oil lamp would have been mounted on the rear of the body sill by means of a combination lamp/license plate cast bracket.

Steve, I thought the kerosene tail lamp would also be mounted on the spare tire carrier if non electric but with demountable rims. I know my '14 runabout tail lamp is mounted as you describe with the combination bracket...

Yes, I believe that is correct IF it had factory demountables & the spare rim carrier.

Brooks: I own a 1919 Runabout. It has an electric starter. The rear lights on my car are the small round 6volt type. They are mounted on the rear spare tire carrier.
