I am working on a 1917 roadster and need pics of the seat backrest and wood support, I have the backrest frame from cubel's but not sure how it goes and I have anew backrest spring from snyder's and not sure how it goes and is. Attached to the backrest wood.

Any pictures and info will be appreciated

Clayton. I went looking on the goog and came up with a lot of valuable info. Saved a lot of bookmarks and pics. Details abound that raise nearly as many questions as those that are answered. :-) Thank you kindly for the reminder about the Goog. It IS far better than duckduckgo dot com for searches of this type yet I don't wish for the big boys to remember (forever!) what I search for.!

Haven't seen exactly what I'm looking for. After the upholstery is installed the body steel and wood detail goes away.

Michael, may I "glom onto" this thread and ask for the same as you? I'd love to see pics of the Runabout's rear panel body steel AND wood. After wood framing and before upholstery... I have a 7-'17 Runabout body.
The seat back area is of interest to me also as I have no wood up and above (up to the upper tack rail, which is missing) a piece at the bottom of the seat cushion back. That wood part is slightly above and behind (rearward) of the lower tack rail pieces for the rear upholstery.
I have the steel lower seat frame if that helps. Ugh, now I'm gonna get called out on nomenclature... ;-) A topic as of late. :-)
No screw holes or such on this part. PLUS I want to see pics of the steel on the upper tack rail as I believe my steel has been flattened.
I haven't purchased correct seat springs for mine yet.
Michael, would you do me a big favor and take/send me a pic of the back of the body on your '17?
Thank you.
Duane
