We all have junk drawer boxes, sheds, garages full of automobile parts left to us from loved ones but some of us have no idea what some items are
I have a lot of folks coming into my shop with car parts wanting to know what they are
there is a great amount of knowledge in this form and wonder if anyone would object to some of us asking for help trying to identify certain automobile objects
if know one thinks this might be a good idea then we can drop[ this
I will start with 1st object

Very cool, thank you, wish I had the rest of it, Bob
Robert, I see no problem with asking about parts. A lot of the time the part may turn out to be Model T related, but at very least it is " old car hobby related" and that is allowed under the OT "rules". I asked about a part awhile back that came with a lot of T parts and other things. I thought it had to do with old cars. But it turned out to be a horn crane for an old Edison type cylinder record player. It turned out to be worth quite a bit of money. Without the help of the forum it could have ended up in the scrap. Now it will continue its life in somebody's phonograph collection as a cherished object. So even the occasional non car part showing up, can be a good thing ... just my 2 cents worth again ....
So true, there are a lot of people with knowledge on this site, Bob
