Should there be any wobble on the pulley on the crankshaft that drives the Cooling Fan? The one on my 1923 Roadster seems to have some wobble to it and I'm wondering if that is causing the fan bearing to wear to much in one area. I am rebuilding a 1919 engine and the pulley on it is pretty snug, but am I comparing apples to oranges?

Mine was so loose it made noise, so i put one of the alum pullys from texas t on as well as a new matching fan pully. theres no more noise or wabble and the pullys have a lip to keep the belt in place
John I just got off the phone with Texas T about their Ball bearing pulleys for the fan. He said the only thing the wobble could cause was noise like you said you had and it could wear on the crank and wear it down some. So I think you had the right idea. Thanks Gary
it worked great for me good luck
