I recently installed a starter in my T and am having trouble tightening the forth screw. I am looking for a tap to clean the threads but am unable to find one or determine the necessary thread and pitch from the reproduction screw set I recently purchased. Can anyone help to locate a tap or advise me of the tap specifications? Thank you goaljg007@hotmail.com

I found it.
Search this forum using "bendix cover screw" as the search criteria. Click on the third search result and you can view the print for the Bendix® cover screw.
I guess I am too sleepy to get it right this morning.

Ron..one thing I have found on this forum is if it doesn't show up in preview, it is not going to show up on post. When It doesn't show, have to go back and try to figure out what command is causing the problem. I think most often it is the backslash, which is this one \ not this one /.

I have have a cable modem and recently upgraded my Norton 2002 to Norton 2003. In addition to Virus protection Norton 2003 software has a Internet Security Firewall.
To test if the Internet Security firewall was causing the problem I was having getting an error message when trying to post photo's on the MTFCA Forum I disabled it and tried to post a photo.
As you can see from success above and with the photo with this message it only works with the Norton 2003 Internet Security disabled.

Most T Vendors don't have what, at some times you most need. Try the mail order catalogs,WT Tool, Emco, Micro-Mart and and many more. Had good luck finding these National Special taps & dies from these places, and others. Go to the Net and seek ,you will find.
