Rick,

You may end up not needing the water pump if you have a good radiator and the engine is clean and timing adjusted right. I had lots of trouble even after putting the pump on; recoring the radiator fixed it for good.

All the water pumps are different but if you need pump packing you can order that from Lang's or Bob's.

Two wood blocks go between the frame upper and lower rails where the engine mounts onto it, and a third goes behind the steering column bracket where it mounts onto the frame.

For a complete description of where each body block goes, check the Ford Model T Service Manual where it describes step-by-step dismantling, and again reassembling, of the entire car. The body blocks are mentioned in each case where they are used.

This same question was also asked previously and is also answered under the topic "Body Blocks, Where Do They Go?"

Complete with a nice illustration if you click on the URL!
