Does anyone have any pics of how the windshield stanchions attach to the top of a 25 tt c-cab? Also, were the wooden floorboards covered with any kind of "floormat" or were they just painted wood? Any help appreciated! David
???????? can anyone answer this ????
I saw some pictures on this site, http://www.fordtontruckclub.org/tech.htm
You could also check out the pictures at the TT truck club site or find a guy there that has a similar cab as yours and e mail him. I di that with my truck and got some good answers

David, I don't beleive there is any "attachment" of the top to the windshield stanchions on the C-Cab. The top being fixed and relatively immoveable it doesn't need any. There is a flap, called a visor, part number TT-12350RX, attached to the inside of the header that hangs over the top of the windshield to keep major drafts out. At the side of the windshield, the side curtains attach to the stanchions and also to the inside of the header to enclose the interior. The body parts list for the C-cab show a fairly good side view of the cab with considerable space between the top and the windshield. The Ford Ton Truck website (above) has pics of a C-Cab that has been rewooded, but I don't recall if they show the visor. We still have a lot of detail work to get into the magazine for the TT Trucks. This is just one area. Joe

The TT C-Cab windshield as previously mentioned does not attach to cab top. There is only a leaterette flap attached to the top that is about 3-4" which hangs down to help keep out the rain and wind. My C-Cab is original from my grandfather and still has the orginal flap.

I should have also answered your question about the floor mat. My 1925 C-Cab has the original floor mat. It looks just like the one for the touring or roadster but I have never tried one from my touring. I believe they are the same but you could check the Model T Parts Book in the TT section and see if they list a different floor mat but I don't think so.
