Hi all,
I have a taillight/license plate bracket I cannot identify. I believe it is for a T. It is two pieces, bolting together behind the round place for the light. The tallest part has two mounting holes in it. I will try to post a pic, but, no guarantees. Can anyone help?
It looks a little like this one:
Overall height is about 8 1/4" .
Best guess so far: these were used on non-electrified T commercial or TT to allow adequate room for the oil taillight.
No identifying numbers on this bracket of any kind. May not be Ford part.....?
The bracket in Chris's picture is an after market bracket. If you have the Clymer book, Henry's wonderful Model T, it is pictured on page 210. Chris, does the mounting brascket appear to mount on the side, just below where a turtle deck would be?
The bracket that Phil posted looks to be the tail light bracket for the 1915 touring car, which mounted on the underside of the body on the bottom of the sill.

I believe my bracket mounts on the inside of of the body (possibly turtle deck or TT truck bed). It mounts parallel to the frame. I hope that makes sense. There are no numbers that I could find.
