I am restoring a 23-25 Touring car body and are currently in the process of assembling
the wood sills and main "wood beam" to the chassis. I see by the drawings that the rear of the car is bolted to a bracket that I guess is around 7 inches long. I don't have these two brackets and don't see them in the Snyders book.
Help - what is the part number or could someone shoot me a pic of what the beast should look like.
Tks Stuart

Stuart:

Are you sure you are not talking about the cross member ears. The rear cross member goes all the way across and is one piece. The bracket that bolts to the main sill is only about 2 or 3 inches long and is the same as the middle bracket.

From page 23 of the August 5, 1928 Parts Price List, part numbers are:

3601-F Body bracket-rear-R 1921-25
3601-G Body bracket-rear-L 1921-25

Here is a pic of 3601-G

Thanks guys - they say a pic is worth a thousand words - this sure makes sence now.
Dave I will go back through my pile of bits n pieces and see if the old boy included this when I purchased my sheet metal.
Dave I will get back to you later in the day.
Cheers Stuart
