I remember someone posting info on the Kohler "lawntractor" carb that had some technical info. They gave the Kohler model number and air flow spec. And if memory has not failed they also gave some info on what a T needs to breath best. Another post noted some changes that had to be made for this carb to work well on the T (i.e. not need a additional fuel pump). If anyone reads this and has that info please repost it.

And Guys, I've read all the "That carb don't belong on a T" posts. What I really want is to start a string with good technical info concerning the multitude of carbs the T has had over the years, who are good rebuilders, reliable vendors for rebuilt carbs. Any info on the new build Holly G and the Kohler. What to look out for (this carb has a history of....,etc.), and new parts.I have seen references concerning some John Deer floats that can either fit or can be modified and used to repair our existing T carbs. What are the JD numbers, what T carbs can they be used on, what needs to be done (if anything) to adapt them.

The John Deere part number for a '13-'14 float is 93004/AR-10066R. Also, a Briggs & Stratton float, part #298514 will fit a '15-'27 NH Holley carb. I haven't tried these myself, but have collected quite a few modern day replacement part numbers for Model T's from various sources, and I'm always trying to add to my collection of new numbers. This may be useful information that could be added to the technical page of the MTFCA web site, and updated as more modern day replacement part numbers are found.
