I got a jump starter for Christmas.
Here is a ebay link to the model and several listings.

I thought, "boy, what would that little thing start?"
I figured I might crank a lawnmower with it or something but it amazed me.

Thursday, when I went to get the TT out of the shed to put on the carb ,the battery was slap dead.I hooked this thing up to it thinking it was a waste of time,BUT it fired right up and and the jumpbox was still 100% on it's meter! It works good.

I thought I would mention it as it might help folks that tour and have limited storage space.

Holy Crap - Ion battery ? Isn't that what "smoked & burst into flames" on them Hoverboards or something for no reason ? Don't think I'd keep it in my T or my garage for that matter !

Steve, I agree. One thing about so many rechargeable batteries is you don't dare leave 'em unattended, especially when being recharged. We never leave home with any of 'em on the charger.

I didn't realize they had not got all the boogers out of the lithium battery's as far as function and safety. So far no trouble with this 1.

Is it rechargeable? I looked at the listing and didn't see anything about recharging or not.

I have been using rechargeable batteries in my work tools for 35 years.
First NiCad, and now Li. I also heat my shop with a wood stove. All three
have been known to cause fires if not used with common sense. By some
people's logic, I should get rid of all my blade tools and firearms because
they might stab, cut, or shoot me !

Bridges have been known to collapse, towers to fall. At what point do we
just use our heads and not be fear driven ?
