Could someone ask the guy in the touring to move foreword just a wee-bit,,,,I'd sure like to see the "Venice Local"....What we can see looks interesting....

Very early 1917 touring - note the "tombstone" window in the rear curtain instead of three rectangles.
I've seen period photos of other '17 tourings with the tombstone window.
That rear window is common on the early '17s, but just when they discontinued it is anybodys guess. Maybe I'll check into it the next time I go to the archives! What I want to know is what is that steam engine doing in downtown Venice?
The steam engine is part of the Venice miniature railway. It was on an eighteen inch track.
