Hi, I don't have a scale to weigh a clincher rim on and we are trying to get a bulk galvanizing order on. Does anyone know what a clincher rim, rim only (not the spokes and/or hub) weigh? The whole thing spokes hub and rim is said to weigh 27 lbs so the rim only should be much less than that.

Are your rims worth fixing? Most are not.

I have several different T demountable rims. They weigh about ten pounds each.

Do you have a bathroom scale?

A) Stand on the scale without holding the rim.

B) Stand on the scale while holding the rim.

Subtract A from B.
