Hi, Space City T's club members are doing a batch of rims to blast and galvanize in Houston, Texas by Southwest Galvanizing. 600 pounds for $300 plus $75 for blasting in case you are wondering. We have at least 10 rims now. Trying to get this on in the next week. We are selling stock and derivatives. :-) Is there a good way of tagging whose rims belong to whom that will survive the blasting and galvanizing so we know which rim belongs to which owner?

Why not punch a number into a metal tag (aluminum or brass) and safety wire it to the rim?

Just called Southwest Galvanizing. They can wire a washer around each one they said.

Plumber's tape, number stamps, baling wire. You could also use unholed metal tape if you have a punch to make the holes.

Why not just use a number punch set and assign a number to each person stamped inside the rim and you don't have to worry about a tag getting lost?
