That does look like the old "bulk oil" quart dispensing "can" used with them. Has a fold down spout, you put the can under the fill pipe on the oil drum (square drums) and crank the pump to fill it: it has graduated marking s stamped on the side, then take it over to the car, lower the spout into the filler hole and voila!

Not to sure about the cap on the baby though. It does look like is out of style for these days. And she does look like a city girl and not a farm girl.
