I apologize Jay. It's just one of those days. :-)

Us average folk just peel onions but high class people like the Fords and Firestones pell their vegetables. The elite still do it today...

Jay,I want to thank you for all your posts, occasionally all of us misspell something or the computer does it for us, and we fail to see it or proof read something. It seems that always someone will take a poke us. At times it is just funny and we can all laugh at it, but it always is belittling.
Thanks again and thank you Tim, and thanks Mike for realizing.

I find it kind of funny when I see pictures of people on camping trips wearing white shirts and bow ties. However, when I was a boy, some of our family dressed up for picnics too. There were "best clothes" and "old clothes" but the old clothes were just the same clothes after they got old. It was only later that we got "dress clothes" and "casual clothes" which were actually different styles.

John, You are taking yourself too seriously. You are a giant f3ck up, just
like everyone else is a giant f3ck up. Who here doesn't go out into the shop
to get something and realize upon getting there that they've forgotten what
it was they put their boots and coat on for ? Who hasn't stood there looking
right at something and can't find it ? Misspelling ? Sheesh, .... half the crew
here comes off as semi-literate ! So what ? We're all old bumbling fools.
The sooner we come to grips with that, the better. Cut yerself some slack.
We would not want you around if you were so #@! perfect ! :-)

How do we know those are onions and not potatoes? Inquiring minds want to know! :-)

I'm just amused how they "camp" all dressed up! Hell I don't dress that good for church on Sunday!

I've read that when they went "camping" there was a whole entourage of "servants" along to cook, etc.

David, I heard that too. I read somewhere that the campsite would be setup and ready to go when they rolled in. I wonder if Edisons the guy peeing on the tree in the shadows. Seems like they can't take that crazy old man anywhere.

"Ya see Harvey? This is why I left the farm."

Probably like the "American Pickers". Most of what is going on is not in the picture.
