Is this a Kingston Box Dad got the Kingston hard ware from it but it came with a Heinze Switch. Thanks Colin .

Colin it looks to be a early Kingston by the shaded area of the latch and the wrap around mounting bracket holes that would have attached it to the firewall. The switch is a 1910-13 Heinze.

Thanks John All the hard ware from this box was put on a new box back in the 60,s we used the Heinze switch in the car until about 2000, I bought Dad an original Kingston switch that is in the car now. As I go through his boxs I find that anything that came off the car is in a box I also found the original top from 1912 in a box. Thanks Colin

John is right; the "angle" style brackets were used 1909-10 and the larger rubber switch was first used in mid '10 so that is what I'd date your box as. The Heinze switch was used 1911-13 on Heinze boxes.
