Hey fellas, is there anyone out there near the San Francisco bay area in California that would be willing to check out a T for me? A fellow called my last night and said he inherited a T from his grandfather and he and his sister aren't interested in it and want it sold. I have yet to see any photos, but if this is legit I'd love to find someone out there who could check the car out in person for me. Send me a PM if you are interested and I will fill you in. Thanks!
Bill, "Bay Area" covers a HUGE amount of real estate, what community is it near?
This kind of situation can result in a good buy, or you could be dealing with folks that have watched too many TV shows that claim everything you inherit is valuable.
David, I'm not sure of the exact location, but when I find out I'll be sure to post.
Ho boy, I've heard some folks call Davis "Bay Area!"
The way it's raining here right now, we may be "the Bay area!"
My wife just came back from trying to drive to work, our street is flooded at the bottom end, I sent her around to the top end to the main road (about a 2 mile detour, not too bad.).
Right car right price I come over the Hill way it's rating I say Bay getting bigger by the m8nute
I am in Hayward. That's about 10 miles from Oakland, 30 miles from San Francisco.
I work in Walnt Creek, that's about 20 miles inland from San Francisco.
I'd be glad to check out a T if it is actually in the SF. Bay Area.

Between Aaron and I and there's a few others in the Bay Area that have been in this hobby .....forever, if you can get the name of the grandfather we may know the car and be able to save a trip.
Ed aka #4
Hey Ed- now I have a much better idea of how long "forever" actually is! Thanks for the clarification.
Sorry for all the hub-bub fellas, but it was indeed a scam!
Rats!!
Oh well. Hello Ed A and Dan McE and Arron G all still in the Ba Area!
Yeah Dan, you more than qualify. We're "Lifer's" here. Love it, not leave it. Wayne escaped, is on the lamb, never to return........
A scam? In the Bay Area???? I can hardly believe it.
A scam in the auto business at that! Really.
Shucks, I was hoping I could go see somebody's model T.
