Saw this badge on the honeycomb radiator that came with my car.

I'm unfamiliar with this company. Can anyone educate me on them?

I believe the company name is "Hexcel Radiatory Company"

Fred M. Opitz invented the Hexcel. I did a quicky search on duckduckgo.com and found his mid 30's patent for these or similar radiators. Google found more.
Don, if you like to read he sure does explain things thru. Not for me, too ADD but there is a drawing and another patent he got for a "swamp cooler" type of room air conditioner.
:-)
Now on to Hooven Radiators for me.

Will do James.

Since my car is a 24, the low-hood Hexcel radiator that came out of the barn with it, is not correct for the car.

So...what I REALLY need is a tall radiator and shell, but I want a shell that matches the wear on the car, not a perfect/shiny one.

If I can find a suitable set, I'll let go of my Hexcel Radiator.
