Getting the tank ready to put in the 16 Roadster. The tank looks good inside with minimal rust. The two baffles are laying loose in the bottom and have no rust on them. Should I just leave them as is or try to stand them up and find a way to secure them?

Well when in the correct position they help keep the gas from sloshing all over the place. I think you should check into a new tank. Just my opinion.

Normally I would say the same as John. I'm all for new tanks if you're running on an original or a very old one. However..this time, my '20 is kind of like Dale's...got a baffle laying on its side in an otherwise not too old looking tank. It's staying there. Car runs fine the way it is. Plus, as of last fall there was quite a backlog on round tank production.
