With the generator installed in the vehicle, which directional movement of the third brush will will increase the output? Clockwise or counter clockwise when facing the radiator from the front of the car? Thanks Joe

Moving the third brush Clockwise (in the direction of armature rotation) will increase the charging rate and counter clockwise (opposite direction of armature rotation) will reduce the charging rate.
