Boy, they have it all, cars, motorcycles, horses, what a busy scene!
yes, agree very cool - lot's going on
Definitely lots going on then. Why not now?
Looks like every man for himself.
Dave, if I wasn't brain-dead I'd recall what product used the slogan "Eventually . . . why not now ?" - I'll bet that's what the wall bulletin is about.
Ha ! Got it !! Gold Medal Flour - the "al" visible left of the "why not now" is probably "Medal".
The writing on the photo looks like "New Richmond, Wis." I wonder how it looks now.
Nice street lights, too.
That might be looking south on Knowles Street. Not called Main any more. i cannot get the google site to paste.
Only place in town I could find a 3 story structure.

I agree with you. New Richmond is in N.W. WI & near the MN border. Could not find 'Main Street' on their map of the city. Maybe the street has been renamed since the photo? With the wide sidewalk areas, perhaps Highway 64 used to go through the city? Shadows in the photo do appear to be showing a southerly direction, close to noon.... Would be interesting to see what it looks like now.
Thanks, Jay, for sharing the photo.
It's North Knowles today and not nearly so busy,
Both buildings in the right foreground are still there as well as some down the street.
