I have a NOS one, never thought id see another
Think how many may be tucked away in attics or barns. It is fun to see.
There are a lot of NOS or at least unused "early take-offs" (when folks switched to Prestolite tanks) carbide generators around.
My dad purchased a few NOS generators from a Ford dealer in southern Minnesota 65 years ago. He said there were more but he took only as many as he thought he could re-sell.
More recently, I found the one below in a garage at an estate sale in Minneapolis.
When I was a teenager, there used to be a lot of NOS generators at swap meets for $75 each. Of course, that was 50 years ago.
