Ford offered a variety of windshields in 1910 model year including Metzger, Rands, and others. You could even get your car without a windshield if you wanted to save a few bucks.
My car has a period accessory windshield. I want to replace it with one of the Ford offered ones. I need to know what dimensions were used on the 1910, along with how high the firewall filler board is. In other words I need to know:
1. Brand
2. Width and height of each pane
3. Height of the filler board.
If anyone has this information, or a lead on a good windshield, I really am interested.
Here are some examples illustrating the differences in windshields and filler boards:
Here is what I have:
have you checked the build sheet to see if it had one when new. charley
Charley the build sheet says it had a "R" (Rands) windshield originally.
we can talk at the meet. charley
or call 417-394-2788. charley
Hey Royce, I can check the dimensions on my '10 if you still need them.
