The intent of Henry Ford in establishing this institution is pretty straightforward.
This institution exists because members financially support it thru paid membership and/or participation in hosted events.
What if an institution proposed the elimination of the Model T ?
Would you fight that ?
Some causes are worth taking a stand for ....

If I remember correctly, and if the charter hasn't changed, the main purpose of THF is (was?) to educate. That's why there has nearly always been a school associated with and on the grounds of the complex. That's also why they have been insistent (rightly so) on the authenticity of cars attending either event. It's also a part of the reason for the Pass-In-Review.
I don't think a class-action lawsuit will solve anything. In fact, I believe it would only steel their resolve to hang on to their changes and do nothing but create hard feelings. After all, would you want to go to a party at someone's house that you sued?
I still think the best way is to see how attendance is at MM and then OCF, continue to try to open a dialogue and, hope for the best or move on.
