In a previous thread, photo in this one:

These were ID'd as 26/27 front fender irons and brackets. My frame has the front crossmember replaced and bolted on, so I thought this bracket would just bolt on. But research indicates that this bracket was not a real part. Don't know if Bubba cut them off the correct frame to reuse, but it looks like the front bender iron will just bolt on to the frame. And by addiding this bracket to the mix, radiator and all the aprons and shells, will not fit correctly.

Does this bracket AND the fender iron itself al get bolted to the frame? Any diagrams or photos of the correct order greatly appreciated.

Some photos and pics to help. The '26 cross member #2853 had added Front Fender to Frame brackets 2859B (L) and 2858B(R)that hold, with bolts, the Fender Bracket #4858 secure to the frame bracket.

The Fender Bracket is also riveted to the inside of the outer front fender, so the Fender Bracket is usually attached to the front fenders on '26-'27 T's.

Two more of a '27 frame, but same as '26.

Think your chassis has a cobbled up replacement front cross member and that may be the issues.

The front of the frame should be like this:
