Are the magnet supports brass, or aluminum? The ones in my 1915 are brass. The clamps in mine are curved, too. My guess is that yours is 1917-1918. Obviously, with no ring gear it's no later than 1918.

Part 3277 that holds the magnet ends is straight cut and not the shape of this part on other flywheels. The 1916 Ford parts book from Canada is the only parts book showing this part, 3277, having the shape of this part on this flywheel. The spool under this part is brass, which leads be to believe that this flywheel is a 1915-16 flywheel from a Canadian Model T.
