Ordered a tire and it arrived in two days, and exactly when they said it would.
Normally I'd have driven a couple of hours to Chattanooga, bought the tire from Coker's, and had them mount it. But word is they don't mount any more. That's their right as it is their business. But I took my business elsewhere.
I got my model A parts order from Snyders today just ordered it two days ago! fast service every thing perfect!
I use Brattons model A Parts good people and fast shipping. Sometimes I order from Mike's model A s and receive anything they Have in stock the next day. What would we do without our old car vendors. I buy a lot of T parts from Langs. All good suppliers JMHO Tim
Steve,I hate to p--- on your parade, but Coker's own most,if not all the molds for tires.
I have used Snyder a lot for my Model A, and a little for my Model T, I have received the parts in very good time, as I live in western Canada, their service has always been excellent, I recently used Langs for the first time, also received excellent service.
Jack, you are correct! But I bought retail...they sold wholesale. But the real message is here is that Snyder's is a quality operation.
I have used Bird haven ( Texas T ) since My first Model T. Down home people, who go out of their way to help , ship on time and the best, they inclose a package of Tootsie rows, with each order.

I made a order from Synders the other day and received it the very next day. This is the second time it came that fast. Impressive.
Usually, when I shoo away the moths and buy new parts? I buy from Chaffin's Garage because they are on my side of the country, and I know them. Most of our model T and model A new parts people are great, and deserve our business and support. I only know of one exception, and I won't bash them because I have not done business with the new owners myself (the original owners about 40 years ago).
Just guessing here. Coker's probably quit mounting tires because either their attorneys or insurance company made them do so.
I ordered a headlight rim removal tool from Snyder's and got it in 2 days. Wow.....what service.
Yet another supplier pissing contest thread?
No p c about this. We all love our model T parts suppliers!
Never bought anything from Snyder's. Not because I don't think they'd serve me well. I have just been buying from Lang's for so long. But I will say that Snyder's has one of the nicest catalogs I've ever seen. They include pictures of just about if not every single part listed in their catalog. Not everybody does that, and it's handy as a reference if nothing else.
I think of Snyder's as the king of T tires. They always have stacks of fresh tires of all brands in stock. I've bought from them by mail and in person. Always a good experience.
My two cents: I use either Snyder's or Langs or Chaffins. Mostly Snyders because they're close and shipping is fast.
I have NEVER had a problem with Snyders. They have been friendly, fast and, reasonable.
(For that matter, so have the other two mentioned above but this is a thread about Snyders.)
HAPPY EASTER!!!
Bob has been good to me!
I have been happy with Snyder's for many years. They custom made my Yellowstone Bus seat springs to my specs. I have gotten great service from several others too.
Making some of my own parts has given me an appreciation for the makers and sellers of parts. There must be some satisfaction in it.
Aren't we lucky they do it?
Rich
I have been very satisfied with the few parts I have ordered from Snyder's... great customer service.
The one question I have for you Steve, did the tire come inflated?
John,
Even without a tube in it the tire's body was filled with a mix of 79% nitrogen, and just under 21% oxygen.
I have had good service from Snyder's and from several other's.
I don't count any of the suppliers out. I'm glad they are selling the parts and help keeping Model T's going.
Lang's for my T parts and Snyders for the A.
Both give fantastic service.
Don, Steve, and Ashley have been a big help.
I usually get parts within a few days.
Snyders has also given me fast and good service.
One the shipping company damaged a box and a widow winder I had ordered.
I called Snyders and they immediately sent a replacement.
Once I made a big mistake and placed an order with Macs.
The parts came in dribble and drabbles and It took 4 weeks to get all the parts.
I know
That there are other good suppliers but Langs and Snyders are my favorites
Steve,
You forgot to mention it was inflated to 14.7 psia.
Hal - precisely measured at 14.7 in fact.
